Description of center’s mission and objectives

Center for cooperation with enterprises was establish at the Faculty of Mechnical Engineering as focal point for all services that Faculty can provide for enterprises in local and regional market. The initiative to establish the Center for Economic Support came from the business community of companies in the metal sector from the Republic of Srpska, and was created as a result of the need of companies for support from reference educational and scientific institutions with development and innovative projects initiated by companies from the metal sector of the Republic of Srpska, and the growing needs of companies for a quality and educated random workforce that should, by definition, enable the competitive performance of the company on the domestic and foreign markets and the sustainable development of the company.

Description of center’s facilities and equipment

Center has accredited laboratory according to ISO 17025:2018 for testing of metal materials and welding joints. Also, center has 10 laboratories with different equipment for simulation, measurement, scanning, priducion, training and testing.

Two 3D scaneers (Creaform, Nikon), Universal testing machine for tensile, bending, pressure testing of metal specimens, as also hardness tester, Joule pendeleum, Several microscops, 3 Four robots, 3-axis machining centre, AVL dinamic brake for engines with internal combustion, complete laboratory for training and testig in the field of Hydraulics (Rextrox Bosch), Schneider and Siemens stations for programing in the field of mechatronics and automation, huge number of licenced softwares, complete loboratories for CNC training and welding training, etc.
