Sustainability initiatives are all well and good - but how do you ensure their visibility and acceptance?

That's a question I'd like to put forth in order to help get the ball rolling in this nascent forum. We've probably all heard before that no matter the inherently long-term nature of your sustainability strategy, or really any strategy, it shouldn't take too long for the first results to become visible. Actions speak louder than words, and in a world full of corporate bluster and LinkedIn peacocking, actually doing the things you said you would is just about the only way to convince others that you're serious. And of course, the principles of responsible management demand that when talking about visibility and acceptance, we should not just consider the internal perspective, but also those of business-external stakeholders. So, I'm curious: Do you know of any great examples of successful communication in this context? Or, perhaps even more interestingly, do you know of any notable failures? How would you treat more subtle, less glamorous, but still eminently important projects, for example waste avoidance schemes? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Also, I didn't use AI to write this post. Maybe that can become a sort of unspoken rule around here.
