The 3Smart project. Its main objective is to establish a comprehensive energy management system between buildings, energy networks and larger urban infrastructures. The creation of the energy management system will be investigated from both technological and legal aspects. The modular energy management platform, which enables optimal interaction between the building and the grid, will promote investment in energy storage facilities on both sides.

The modular energy management platform developed in the course of the project, which integrates building-side and grid-side management and takes into account the relevant grid regulation frameworks of five Danube region countries (AT, BA, HR, HU and SI), is also being tested in five pilot areas in the five countries.
