Freeze Concentrate Technology

Solution overview

The natural water content of the juice is reduced by freezing at temperatures well below 0°C. This is done very selectively so that none of the juices ingredients, especially the highly volatile aromatic substances, are lost. They remain entirely in the concentrate and are enriched in a natural way. The sensory quality of the juice concentrate obtained in this way, in particular the taste and aroma, is exceptionally high and therefore superior to all other concentration processes. As there is no loss of flavor during the concentration process, the juice rediluted from the freeze concentrate has the same taste as the juice before concentration.

Key features

Freeze concentration is an innovative concentration process for juices that works entirely without the use of heat or vacuum. Advantages of iprona Freeze Concentration Technology: highest sensory quality Lower transportation and storage costs than with unconcentrated juice (NFC) due to reduced volume Application in product recipes with the highest demands on taste and aroma.
