Solution overview

Farmit is a unique multi-sided platform for connecting customers from urban areas with small farmers by allowing them to rent a garden and receive vegetables from their rented space. Though our software, we manage customer and farmer onboarding, farmer allocation, payments, logistics and delivery management. Farmits goal is to secure high quality vegetables being delivered to the door of its users, while farmers will earn more, have secured placement and solely focus on production. Farmit solves the problem of long supply chains by securing spaces for farmers and allowing them to focus on quality, while earning up to five times more. Residents of urban areas receive fresh, healthy vegetables delivered to their doorstep. The planting of Farmit vegetables is done strategically, in accordance with the number of rented gardens, which addresses environmental issues, reduces pollution, and minimizes food waste. Farmit uses reusable packaging for its vegetables, promoting sustainability and transparency in the food supply chain. The largest target group includes young people aged 25 to 40 and young families with children, who represent the highest percentage of current users. Ideal Farmit customers are financially stable and care about the quality and origin of the food they consume. They are inclined toward innovation and are ready to embrace change. Their lifestyle is dynamic, and the delivery of high-quality, healthy food makes their daily lives easier and saves them time.

Quality: Our vegetables are pesticide free and planned cultivated. Length of supply chain is minimized and farmers are focused only on quality of the final product. Super-fresh vegetables: We are focusing on quality of vegetables and super-fresh delivery. In order to ensure freshness, vegetables are harvested/picked the morning before delivery. That way, our customers will have an impression of vegetables picked straight from their yard. Customer care: Besides vegetables, we are sending weekly recipes of what our customers can cook out of products delivered. Continuous communication is our main focus when building positive relationships with our customers. Every feedback is very important to us. Sustainability: Our system reduces food waste, optimizes crop planning, and minimizes CO2 emissions, creating a more sustainable food system. It also helps prevent land decay by ensuring efficient land use. Fair trade: Farmit aims to support small farmers and promote local economies. Farmers on farmit sell directly to people in cities. They are focused only on farming, since the problem of finding distribution channels no longer exists. This way they earn 4x more and enjoy their fundamental job.
