Description of center’s mission and objectives

INTEMAC is a competence and innovation centre for Industry 4.0. With a commitment to the regional innovation strategy of the South Moravian Region (Czech Republic), it leads industrial companies to global excellence, strengthens their courage and expands their knowledge for the implementation of new technologies, leading to an increase in their efficiency and competitiveness. INTEMAC offers a wide range of services, including expert consulting, professional training and comprehensive R&D services, especially in the field of digitalization of production.

Description of center’s facilities and equipment

Digital Technologies The testbed includes a wide range of cutting-edge technologies designed for flexible manufacturing and automation. These technologies include a variety of robotic structures, standard and modular end effectors, and advanced automation components. The testbed is also equipped with precision sensor systems and machine vision systems capable of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional image processing. Additionally, it features 3D printers for rapid prototyping and high-performance computers with NVIDIA graphics cards, which support the training of neural networks and the development of complex physical simulations. Green Technologies In cooperation with external partners, we have a platform that brings together metering devices for electricity consumption, compressed air, etc. Specialised LED lights with inteligent control.

Digital Technologies The key equipment comprises the ABB IRB 4600 and UR10e robotic arms, a Vertical Machining Centre ZPS MCV1260i and 5-axis SLV EDU CNC Milling Machine, Industrial PCs from B&R Automation and Siemens, a Leica AT-901-MR laser tracker, 2D/3D camera systems, and end-effectors from Schunk, SMC and Robotiq. Additionally, NVIDIA graphics cards and other components from consortium partners are available. Green Technologies LED lights, different metering devices capable of monitor electricity data.
