Description of center’s facilities and equipment

Over twenty laboratories carry out research in the fields of physics, chemistry, materials science, electronics, microbiology, phenotyping, as well as in the fields of processing large amounts of data and artificial intelligence. Laboratories and equipment enable the development of solutions from idea to finished product. The basic part of our research infrastructure is the premises of ISO5, ISO7 and ISO8 class clean rooms with a total area of ​​143 m2. Clean rooms and accompanying laboratories enable micro- and nano-fabrication through processes of deposition, etching and patterning, as well as electrical, optical, biochemical and spectroscopic characterization. The aforementioned activities are supported by a specially designed anti-vibration part of the building that suppresses vibrations above 12 Hz. A dedicated computer center designed according to ISO 27001 and ANSI/TIA-942 standards, equipped with supercomputer servers and storage systems, enables the processing of large amounts of data with machine learning concepts.
