Problem statement

Trebjesa, Montenegro's leading brewery and beverage distributor, faced a compliance challenge when the Montenegrin government introduced mandatory e-invoicing and real-time reporting laws. Trebjesa’s existing ERP system lacked support for these new requirements, putting them at risk of non-compliance with the Montenegrin Tax Authority.

Main outcome

As a result of our partnership, Trebjesa was able to achieve compliance with Montenegro's e-invoicing regulations, streamline its financial processes, and reduce the risk of errors and non-compliance. Not only that, but due to the utilization of the virtual printer, they gained an additional year to find a SAP integration partner (B4B) and SAP orchestrator (DXC).

Main Project Features:

Trebjesa realized that they required a solution that would allow them to generate e-invoices and real-time reports automatically and integrate seamlessly with their SAP system. To allow sufficient time for the SAP partner to complete the integration, which is an organizationally demanding project, we temporarily implemented our "virtual printer solution." This involved extracting data from the data stream and transmitting it to the virtual printer. The interim solution sufficiently fulfilled the required basic legal requirements throughout the integration project. Working closely with the DDD Invoices team and the Czech company DXC, the SAP Process Orchestrator in this project, Croatian SAP partner B4B integrated our APIs into Trebjesa’s SAP system. That enabled Trebjesa to issue e-invoices and real-time reports in compliance with Montenegro's regulations. The integration process was successful thanks to the close collaboration between DDD Invoices, B4B and Trebjesa. The integration also provided Trebjesa with detailed analytics and insights into their invoicing and reporting activities. We provided web application training and support to Trebjesa's finance team and ensured that the solution was fully tested and validated before going live.
