ARTI developed AI software modules for mobile autonomous robots. Together with our customers, we are working on equipping ground-based vehicles with autonomous functions. ARTI AI kits cover all functionalities required for state-of-the-art autonomous navigation and beyond. The kits include mapping, localisation, navigation and fleet management. The software is aimed at customers who want to innovatively develop their own hardware and/or software or provide hardware to handle transport tasks, for example, but also many other use cases with mobile robotics.
Thanks to the modular structure, customised solutions for autonomous navigation can be developed. The customer chooses exactly the package they need for their solution. The software itself is very flexible and easily adaptable to a wide range of use cases and application environments and requires little time to integrate. The software is also hardware-agnostic and is compatible with all common types of sensors, but also independent of vehicle characteristics such as dimensions, payload, control and drive system. In addition, the software works equally well indoors and outdoors. This means that a wide range of use cases can be successfully covered.
The software has been explicitly developed to minimise the time required for integration, calibration and configuration. By focussing on making the software as hardware-agnostic as possible, it can be used extremely flexibly. Robotic platforms or vehicles of any kind can be equipped with it and supplemented with autonomous functions, as a wide variety of sensor set-ups, drive and control systems, vehicle dimensions, payload, operating environment, etc. can be operated.
In addition to the software products, ARTI also offers a range of corresponding services such as individual software development, consulting, setting up PoCs, carrying out tests and simulations. In development projects, the software is integrated into the customer environment and additional services such as training, support and updates are also offered. The scope of these accompanying services depends on the selected license model. We want to understand the customer`s problem as well as possible, which is why every development project starts with a workshop in which the project requirements are defined together.
ARTI develops software in accordance with the latest standards and regulations and naturally takes into account specifications such as the AI Act, Machinery Directive and relevant ISO standards.
ARTI basically offers two different licence models. One is the Single System Licence, which means a software licence for a single vehicle without service. On the other hand, Product Line Licences, where the licence is valid for an entire vehicle category (unlimited number of vehicles) and also includes aal-inclusive services for a certain period of time. Single System Licences and Product Licences differ greatly in their scalability, which is why no general statement can be made about ROI. More information on the licence models can be found under: https://arti-robots.com/2023/10/16/new-robotic-software-license-system/
The software licences are generally valid for an unlimited period of time. However, services such as integration, deployment support, improvements and updates are only available for a limited period of time (6 months; only 1/3 of the original purchase price is payable for a 6-month extension). Individual agreements can also be made with customers, such as quotas for service hours or hourly billing.
