Solution overview

In drone photogrammetry, matching points - identical points that are recognizable on several overlapping images - are triangulated using the known GPS coordinates. This allows a 3D point cloud to be created from several 2D images. This point cloud contains a very dense network of individual survey points. As a rule, drone photogrammetry produces a complete image of the terrain flown over.
